Well hello there! I want to play a bit of a game. You see, this is my favorite time of year. Not because my seasonal affective disorder is in full swing and I can barely get out of bed each day, no. It’s about time for the Super Bowl and the Oscar’s, two of my favorite big ticket television events. And what is a big television event without a little wager? Yea, you know what’s up.
So I have a bit of a game. I will post my Oscar predictions below, and you will fill out a quick form with your predictions. Then, when the glorious yearly divvying of little golden men has completed, I will tally up everyone’s scores. Anyone who gets more correct than I do will be entered in a drawing to win their choice of any Oscar nominated film from this year on their choice of DVD, Blu-ray, or 4K UHD. Come on, you know you were going to make your predictions anyway, so might as well enter for a chance at a free movie while you’re at it! And since we are such big fans of our readers, we’ll select TWO winners!
Also, if no one beats my score (which is a real possibility, let’s be honest 😉 ) I’ll draw from those who have tied my score. If no one beats me or ties me, then I will gloat over all of you mercilessly, and then drawn randomly from everyone who entered. I want to share some movie goodness no matter what!
I know what you are thinking, you can just copy my predictions and bank on no one beating me….but that is less fun. So pick your poison.
Also, some legal stuff here – this contest is only open to US and Canada; sorry, rest of the world.
Good luck!
Below is the list of this year’s nominees, with my predictions in bold. Be sure to fill out this form to enter!
We’ll be closing entries an hour before the Oscars begin on March 4th.
