Gigantic, for those who may not be in the know, is an upcoming shooter-moba style game being developed by Motiga, an independent game studio in Bellevue, Wa. The game will be released on Xbox One and Windows 10 for PC, and will be one of the first titles to support cross platform play. There is no set release date as of yet, but the game is in closed Alpha currently, with an open Beta in August.
The game is breaking the mold in several areas, which is refreshing and exciting. Not only are they one of the few moba style games that is not trying to clone League of Legends or Dota, they are one of the ones that are going for the over the shoulder view with a strong emphasis on verticality. I mean, all of those super powerful champs fighting in one place is super cool, but why are they always on flat land?
Motiga has made a big impression during this year’s E3, debuting a new trailer during the Microsoft press conference earlier this morning, as well as a newly redesigned website that showcases the game’s playable heroes, as well as a new game information page. Word has it that the game will be playable on the Xbox One for the first time ever in the Microsoft booth. So be prepared to start seeing more press coverage soon.

Oh, and by the way. There may or may not be a Gigantic beta key giveaway coming up here at DustimusPrime. Just sayin’.
