Pan’s Labyrinth (2006)
This time it’s Alex’s pick as he goes all the way back to 2006. From visionary writer/director Guillermo del Toro comes Pan’s Labyrinth. It’s a dark fantasy tale about Spain in 1944 through the eyes of a little girl thrust into the world of her sadistic stepfather. Does the fantasy world actually exist or is it a way for the girl to escape her reality? It’s all up for you to decide!
Join Alex and Garrett on this week’s Digital Drive-In Podcast as they discuss the reasons why the film is so memorable and what exactly it is they liked about it. The guys talk the themes, the creativity of the director, as well as what sort of audience they think the film is for in the podcast. So sit back, and strap in for the show!
Welcome to the start of a new season of the Digital Drive-In Podcast!
